Anang Dornatien graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He Obtained his master’s degree in Biomedical sciences with specialization in Clinical molecular sciences from Hasselt University, Belgium where he was involved in projects including “Characterization of antibody biomarkers for improved disease diagnosis in Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)” from novel cDNA libraries created form RA patient material using sequencing and other molecular approaches. His Master’s dissertation carried out at the Institute of interdisciplinary Biosciences of the Belgian Nuclear Research center (SCK.CEN) focused on investigating cellular processes such as inflammation, cell death, pre-mature cell senescence and oxidative as possible mediators of cardiovascular diseases during breast cancer radiotherapy. During this period, he carried out some of his work at the physiology group and INFINNITY lab of Ghent University. He presented his work (3 Oral presentations) at the BIO seminars of SCK.CEN and a Poster presentation at the annual MOSA conference.
